The application deadline to ensure payment is received at the start of term in September 2017 is 27th May 2017.

Student Finance

Students can apply for support for tuition fees which does not depend on household income and is paid directly to the university. Depending upon household income students can also apply for a Maintenance Loan which is repayable and a Maintenance Grant which is not repayable.

Many universities and colleges offer their own bursaries and scholarships to students. You should visit their websites or contact the universities direct to find out what they can offer.


Payment of Grants and Loans

Your Maintenance Loan and any grants due to you will be paid directly into your bank account in three instalments throughout the year. Your first payment will be released once you have registered with your University or College and your attendance has been confirmed.

If you applied online we’ll send you Student Finance Entitlement letter. You need to sign and return the declaration form right away for your application to be approved.
